Your Dream Job

I’ve been trying to decide on a new career for some time, and have probably been thinking about it too much. I’m about to get into art history, which involves among other things, a reading knowledge of French and German, and I’d have to go back to school for another BA and MA in addition to a PhD. Honestly, I like creating art more than I do studying it, although I find art history enjoyable. Animals are my passion and I wish I could find something in the animal welfare field (not a vet, or another job that I would take home with me every night and be upset about). I thought about being a pet psychologist at one point.

Anyway, how do you know if you’ve found the right career? If you can’t make a living with your passion, is it easy to incorporate into your life somehow?
