I can’t tell you how many ideas and inventions I have come up with that I see in stores and on infomercials(Remember the spiderman webblaster that shoots silly string ,I thought of that in the 70’s). My dream job would be to have a workshop at home or in a building were I would do nothing but crank out marvelous inventions all day. However, I’m 24, a newly single mom and am being urged to go into the nursing field by everyone around me since there are SO many positions available…lotsa job security.

I know I want to get out of my current job working in a cubicle and continue on with my education but I’m struggling with which to choose? The more practical nursing job where I’d have guaranteed money? Or a job I LOVE and risk the financial welfare of me and my child? What do you think?

I got a job offer on thursday for a position involving multiple product support and was told to start from monday 9-5. On Friday, another company called for a telephone interview and everything went fine and they scheduled an interview on monday between 12-1!!!!!!

Second job is 1.5 hours away but it is exactly what I am looking for …paying a little more but lots of room for advancement! First job is 5 min drive.. not exactly what I am looking for but tech support!

Now keep in mind I have less than 1 year tech support exp and some certs!

How do i tell my first job that I need a little more time.. considering today is friday and I have to start on monday and ALSO have an interview on monday. btw the first job told me to print and sign the offer and bring it on monday!
